Ability Score Increase. +1 Dexterity or Intellect

Artificer’s Lore. Whenever you make an Intelligence check related to magic items, alchemical objects, or technological devices, you can add twice your proficiency bonus, instead of any proficiency bonus you normally apply. If you have expertise in the skill, you instead make the roll with advantage.

Mechanical Savant. You are proficient with one firearm of your choice or have expertise with one set of artisan’s tools.

Language. You can speak, read, and write elvish or dwarven.

Gob

Known by countless epithets (such as mad, tainted, or demented gnomes), gobs are descendants of gnomes touched by the roiling chaos. While the first gobs were born after the shattering of the Faewylds, a few hob and tob parents are still sometimes horrified when their children are both with green skin and batlike features.

Gobs do not have their own guild-families, but a few tob and hob guild-families still recognize the odd gob as excentric kin, though more are cast out as freaks. Those who live and affiliate with their tob and hob kin are often known as tobgoblins and hobgoblins. The vast majority of gobs are found on the frontier worlds where their unusual nature is less important than their ability to survive.

Many gobs turn to a life of crime as their ability to sprint from one place to another without traversing the space between can be fairly lucrative.

Ability Score Increase. +1 Dexterity or Resilience

Mad Dash. When you take the dash action, you instantly teleport to a space you can see within your walking range. You leave behind footprints and a normal trail as if you’d run through the intervening space and onlookers process your movement as an unstoppable blur. This can result in oddities like footprints leading up or down vertical walls. You can do this a number of times per day equal to your proficiency modifier.

Language. You can speak, read, and write goblin.

Hob

Also known as cottage, country, or garden gnomes depending on status and profession, hobs are more at peace in the rural countrysides that still remain outside the civilization centers of Terra Mundus.

Most old money gnomes are hobs content to live on their estates away from the complications of city life. They may not generally be as clever as bobs, but most aren’t afraid to put in good-old-fashioned hard work.
